What are the ways I can return a percentage % of the value to customers?

When you create your points distribution rule you can specify rules that distribute points per product either:

a) Relative to the product price

Example: For every 10 dollars in the product price the customer will earn 1 point. A $250 product will give 25 points. The customer can redeem 1 point to get $0.25 off.

This is equivalent to returning 2.5% of the value of the product to the customer.

b) Relative to product profit

Example: For every 1 dollar in product profit the customer will earn 1 point. A $250 product that costs $100 will give 150 points. The customer can redeem 1 point to get $0.05 off. This is equivalent to returning 5% of the profit on a product to the customer in points.

c) Fixed amount

Example: For any products purchased in the Tickets category, the customer will earn 100 points. If the customer buys a $20 ticket and a $25 ticket, he/she will earn 200 points. 1 Point is worth $0.05.
