Ever thought about running a Refer-A-Friend Campaign that rewards the Referee and the Referred Customer points? Here is a step-by-step guide on how set this up.
Step 1: Create a new customer group to manage the Referred Customers and ensure they get their bonus points on the first order. To do this, go to Admin > Customers > Customer Groups > Add New Group > Referrals
Step 2: Navigate to Admin > Rewards > Configuration > Other Configuration > Referral Program > Customer Group > Select the new Customer Group you created in step 1.
Step 3: Create a Shopping Cart Earning Rule to reward Referred Customers bonus points on their first order. Ensure you select the correct customer group as well as set the number of uses per customer to 1.
