Listings that need explanation

  • 364.%s, %s off
In the shopping cart if you redeem points, there is a column for each row that says how much you spent and how much of a discount you received as a result. This is in the format “{points}, {discount} off”. Examples would be: “500 points, $500 off”, “123 happy coins, 12% off”.
  • 316.Zero Points Caption
This is used to describe the configuration option that specifies what to put somewhere when there are zero (0) points to represent. Alternatively this would read “What do you want to say when there are no points somewhere?” or “How do you want to say that the customer has no points to report?” or “The way that you want to report your points:”. A semi colon follows this phrase in the application though so it actually shows as “Zero Points Caption:”.
  • 271.Quantity Step
For rule configuration the administrator can specify for every X purchased, get Y discount off. “Quantity Step” describes the X value.
  • 281.Monetary Step
For rule configuration the administrator can specify for every X purchased, get Y discount off. “Monetary Step” describes the Y value.
  • 244.Currency Caption
“Currency Caption” appears in the back-end currency management screen to describe what to call a particular types of “points”. Sample currency captions would be “happy” (for “happy points”) or “gold” (for “gold tokens”).
  • 104.before points
What was the price before points? Shown in the shopping cart totals block and in the order totals block.
  • 40.--Don\'t Transfer Points—
\’ just means  . This is the option to not transfer points to a customer when configuring a MageRewards rewards program.
  • 25.off
Likely represents “{some $$} off”. An example would be “$100 off”.
  • 29.with
An example would be “$34 with 500 tokens”. An alternate word to use in english would be “using”.
  • 17.Unable to load the redeem points hash
This is an system exception message. The words “redeem points” should be left in English. A hash is a package of data (of any kind). In our case it’s a package of data about the way the points are being used for a particular order line item.
